TGIF

Thank goodness it's friday. I woke up to yet another day of sunshine :) Thanks Portland for this absolutely gorgeous weather. Sadly I hear its supposed to go back to rain this weekend :/. But in good news I've been doing great on my working out and staying on the wagon :) and being very creative with food since I am in serious need to go grocery shopping. Yesterday I was so close to just grabbing something I knew I shouldn't have but I resisted and went to the grocery store and just grabbed a few things to hold me over. So I ended up having a yummy turkey fajitas with whole grain tortillas with mushrooms and onions they were supah tasty and I felt better for eating something better. I've also been doing level 1 and 2 of Jillian Michael's 30 day shred the first day was intense doing both but I pushed through and yesterday was super easy (YAY). I've also been obsessed with making my own iced coffee at home. My mom used to do it back in the day and I totally forgot about it. I just make coffee the night before and then in the morning put some ice cubes in it with your choice of sugar or substitute and cream. Or black I've been trying to not use cream in my coffee I'm not a fan of black but Im trying to get used to it.

I also made the yummiest salad of random stuff I had in my house.

Ingredients:

- Spinach
- Chopped almonds
- 1 hard boiled egg
- Cherry tomatoes
with a little drizzle of balsamic dressing

And the best part it filled me up I had got out the yogurt in case it didn't but I was to full so that made me excited. I just wish my biggest loser cook book would hurry up and arrive here. I need some more new recipe ideas to keep things exciting and stay out of a food rut.

I want this modcloth dress SO bad its so so so cute I can't get over it and with my goal shoes (That I posted here) I can't handle it.

  1. that salad looks yummy! I did so good last summer making my own iced coffee the night before and saved some money! Now I'm just trying to cut it off completely
