Thanksgiving.

thanksgiving thanksgiving thanksgiving thanksgiving thanksgiving thanksgiving thanksgiving thanksgiving

I hope your thanksgiving was good spent with family and lots of love. I started off my morning by baking the day away with my mom. I was in charge of the pies, green bean casserole, brussel sprouts. Everything was from scratch at this house. Even the pumpkin pie I was on a mission this year to make one. So I bought my pumpkin and roasted it and everything. Not to tote my own horn but the pies were amazing I made a chocolate bourbon pie as well. After all the cooking was done I headed over to my uncle's house for dinner. And it was all so amazing my uncle brad and everyone did an amazing job. We all had to bring a dish this year I love the holiday's and spending time with everyone laughing and having a good time it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. We ended the night with drawing names for who gets who for christmas. I got my grandma Judy and my aunt becky got me again this year she did pretty great last year with vinyl, my favorite wine and chocolate truffles. And now its time for christmas decorating and listening to she & him christmas on repeat.

Weekend recap.

Weekends are for:
weekendrecap
Putting up your giant pink Christmas tree a little to early. I usually wait until after Thanksgiving but this year I just couldn't wait. Daisy was really not to impressed by it. Which is a good thing I was so nervous she would try to climb it or eat it.
weekendrecap
Brunch dates at Besaw's with Kara. You must try their gluten free french toast.
weekendrecap
Sushi lunch dates with Blair at some place that I cannot recall the name the sushi was great but the service not so much.
weekendrecap Ending it with going to my happy place Monticello Antique mall.
Weekends I love you for letting me sleep in, drinking coffee in bed with a pup and my book. Until next time.

Eagle creek.

Yesterday I spent the day hiking up in Eagle creek with my friend Traci. It was gorgeous and makes me feel so grateful that I get to live in such a beautiful place.

Oh Oregon I love you, you're such a beautiful place to live.

Park days.

parkdays parkdays parkdays parkdays
I love fall afternoons spent at the park with my pup, we went to my favorite park by my house and walked around. Daisy loved watching all the duck and geese swim around I think that was her favorite park along with running through all the crunchy leaves. It was the perfect day not to cold. We've been having the weirdest weather here in Portland today it was 67 out usually it stays in the 40's and 50's and rain basically everyday for months. Im not complaining it's always a nice little brake.

A wedding.

This past September I got the chance to shoot a child hood friend's wedding it was taken place at this tiny cute and charming church out in Carver,OR very private in the woods type of feel. So small in fact the only bathroom that was available for 80+ guest was a porta potty. It was a gorgeous simple ceremony. It was my first time ever doing any sort of event like this so I was a tad ok a lot nervous. But I couldn't show I was on someone else's big day. But after a few minutes of being there I felt a lot more comfortable and way over thought the whole situation. It's a lot of pressure being in charge of someones memories that they will look back on their whole life. But it was so much fun getting to be apart of a special day like one's wedding. I cried a few times but luckily I was hiding behind the camera. Those darn vows and that father daughter dance I thought I was going to loose it they always get me, But I kept it together. I was so happy to be there and maybe I'll do one again one day who knows but I definitely had a blast. wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding at least our outfits have gotten better through the years ;) wedding
