Home tour: Craft room.

Well it took me long enough to get around to doing a room tour of my craft room. Mainly just getting around to cleaning it up enough for pictures. I keep going through clothes and gearing up for a family garage sale next month. So without further ado I welcome you to my craft room. roomtourcraftroom roomtourcraftroom roomtourcraftroom roomtourcraftroom roomtourcraftroom roomtourcraftroom roomtourcraftroom roomtourcraftroom roomtourcraftroom roomtourcraftroom roomtourcraftroom

I love this room it's where I do my crafts, sewing and where I keep all my clothes, since my bedroom closet is quite tiny for my wardrobe of many many dresses. I have two pairs of jeans and oh geez I don't even know how many dresses I have. I also LOVE the desk in this room. When I pictured having a craft room this table popped up in my head and my mom was shopping at my favorite antique mall's monticello antique's and saw this table sitting there in their garden section she texted me the picture and was so nice and got it for me as a house warming present and it fits in just perfectly. I love the framed polaroid of my parents when they were dating, they were such the cute young couple. I was seeing a lot of the big letters in kitchens spelling EAT and all sorts of words and I thought Home was perfect, so I went to jo ann's and got some letters and painted away and now its a perfect little touch on my desk that goes next to my Portland pop up card that I got from tender loving empire. It's the perfect creating space. I love that because it's a old home it comes with the original wood windows with the ropes inside. It looks out on to the back yard with the many trees two apple and one pear tree, lilac tree (which sadly did not bloom this summer so bummed.)a rosemary and raspberry bushes. I am definitely going to be sad when I do eventually leave this little home. So there you have it folks I have officially showed you where I call home.

Currently. currently
Via Danielle of sometimes sweet.

Loving// This summer and all the fun times and memories that have been made with friends and family.

Reading // The happiness project. And learning some things along the way.

Watching// The bachelorette. I never was one for those shows but something about this season I think it was Emily she just seemed so down to earth and one of the nicest girls. And I am so happy with who she choose it was the cutest seeing him play with ricky for the first time. Another show I cant seem to get enough of is Pretty little liars. I just started watching this season when a marathon was on and was hooked and was also so lost because I had no idea what was going on. So my friend Amber was nice enough to burn the previous seasons for me so I could catch up. And also can we talk about Mr. Fitz oh my so adorable.

Anticipating// August and my California road trip with Sam. I cannot wait, I am just itching for a good long road trip.

Listening to// Lately I just can't get enough of of monsters and men. And Taylor swift those two albums are on constant repeat. I just cant get enough.
Planning// My california road trip. Where to stay, and things to do.
Working on// My travel art journal for the trip I can't wait to make memories and I think I will end up making more art journals. It's so fun and so easy you can't go wrong.

Wishing// It was the weekend already so I can be hiking in the pretty forest and looking at waterfalls. And just getting out of the city and into nature.

I love this little idea thanks Danielle for it.

Daisy's first beach trip.

I feel like all I have been talking about for a few months now is the beach and when can I get in my car and go. But I didn't want to go until I could take Daisy I just knew she would love it. So as soon as she had all her shots and her vet gave her the ok we were good to go. And then came Saturday the perfect day to escape Portland's lately hot weather for a cool day at the beach. Myself,Daisy and Kara got our coffee/road fuel put on some Taylor swift and were off to the lovely beach.

--Daisy was really focused on this bird that kept flying near her and she was ready to attack at any given moment.

I always forget just how beautiful Oregon really is until I am on a road trip. I truly love living here and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Our first plan was to drive into Lincoln city but both of the beaches I knew of were packed and I didn't want a big crowded beach and probably wouldn't of been a good idea for a puppies first beach outing. So we mossyied on over to Pacific city which is a a little further north of Lincoln city. I have stayed there many times with family in vacation homes and I remembered the beaches being pretty private and never super crowded, it was perfect.

--Daisy is a really big mooch and food lover I swear she could hear a crumb drop from a mile away. Anytime either of us ate sometime she was all over wanting you to share with her. It's pretty darn cute but hope it's not a habit.

It was the perfect beach for that day. Not to hot it was cloudy but it wasn't cold and rainy, couldn't of asked for anything better. We plopped our blanket and had a picnic of all sorts of things from cheddar bunnies (Which sadly got attacked by a group of mean seagulls, Daisy later tried to keep running after them in our defense), to chocolate but don't worry there was raspberries and apples to make it "healthy". After much fun at the beach we headed back into "town" got our stumptown coffee at mojo's and headed back home. I definitely see more beach trips this summer. You can also head over to Kara's blog and read about the trip plus some pictures she snapped.

California dreaming.

I've been missing California for a while now and wanted to escape to the sunshine and palm trees. But it just wasn't happening, but me and my friend Sam. decided we should take a road trip to visit our friend Sarah for her baby shower.
californiadreaming
A planning session at a coffee shop was in order. It got me even more excited. Things that the trip will include.

DISNEY LAND!
Now this will be my first time ever going to disney land so I am so so excited. Yes my child hood was robbed because my parents never took us to disney land like every family seems to do. We spent our family trips camping and enjoying nature rather then big theme parks. So I am pretty stoked I wish little miss autumn could come I just know she would love it and her face would light up at everything. We plan on going to Disney world with her as a family when she turns four (UGH I don't want to think about her being that old). And my mom and brother want to see the harry potter stuff at disney world.
I would love to go to more beaches this time around so if anyone has any great beach recommendations that would be great. I just want to skip past July I cannot wait, I was just itching for a great summer road trip. Do you have any fun summer trips planned that you are excited for?
