A little pampering always does a girl good.

Hello lovelies it's late over here but I cannot sleep. I have miss autumn over night tonight and she's got a cold so she's all stuffed up and snoring so I decided to blog maybe watch a little tv till I am tired enough to not let the snoring keep me up. Poor little munchkin she looks so miserable and is burning up. And most likely I will get sick I haven't been sick until I started watching her since I am constantly around her I seem to catch whatever she has :(. In other news today was a nice lazy Saturday it rained all day.

I spent it getting my morning coffee and sketching out some things and making list lots of list. All while listening to some good tunes Im really into Jared Mees and the grown children right now. Their album is on repeat everyday.



I don't get this weather Oregon its the middle of June and it's raining where is summer? Although Im not going to lie I am excited for fall and winter again. I love all the layering, boots and scarfs. And this will be my first fall in my new house so Im super stoked. I did get my hair did today I always think oh these roots are bad but I could go longer, then I found out I have two family trips in the next two weekends waiting two weeks seemed to long for me so I got myself in and oof every time after my hair has been dyed Im like "Whoa maybe those roots were worse then I had thought"



This time I decided to go a little more red although photobooth doesn't quite capture it.

Also a pretty little something came today and I am in love.

Her stuff is just gorgeous. I want so many things she is truly talented. As I finish this post up I am actually getting quite sleepy I think I will try to get some rest so I can be up bright and early in case munchkin gets up early. I hope you all had a good Saturday and a great weekend.


Also I don't know why it took me so long to purchase a pair of Toms it's like walking on a cloud of something. Usually after walking in my slip on shoes my feet are dead by mid day. But not in these babies my feet never got sore or tired once. So worth they are fantastic.

I love this top so much its so simple and you can wear it during the day or dress it up for a night out. If there were more colors then the red I probably would of bought them haha :) Chelsea is super talented and I cant wait to see what else she creates. IF you haven't checked out her etsy you really should. I hope everyone is enjoying their Fridays the start to a sunny weekend here in Portland for me. I love Portland sunny days they are the best. Thrifty Thursday.

It's that special time of the week again. I had some great thrifting this week. Im so excited to share them. Usually I snag one maybe two things but not this week. So lets cut the chit chat and look at the goods I know that's what your all waiting for.


Im a sucker for giant coffee cups. And I am always on the hunt for pretty floral tea plates I only have two but Id love to have a collection of them.


I love love these blue containers I have quite the few already.


-I always love to find a new pretty casserole dish I love the design on this one.
-My collection for these bowels is growing quite fast I've found most of mine at good will, and I think I have like eight or nine of them now. I love that they are all pastel colors.





These 1970s fondue pots were defiantly my favorite finds of the day each $2.00 total score! I know that they didn't come with the sticks or burner but that's ok I still love them just as much.

It felt good to get back into my thrifting groove I had gone a while without finding any good home stuff. It seemed like I was always having such bad luck. But what goodies have you scored thrifting lately?

My grandma used to say that a lot when I was in high school and now I really feel like that saying is so very true because.



Well this was taken after realizing I fit back into my skinny jeans!!! Thank you Jillian Michael's I think I defiantly hit my loose 5 lbs goal.Being able to get in those without squeezing and doing squats to squeeze into them is amazing. This face could also go with the fact that I scored THIRD ROW FLOOR TICKETS to katy perry's show July 22nd!!




I loved her performance on this years Victoria secret fashion show.

I am kinda stoked and excited to dress up and dance the night away. I know her show will be amazing. In other news I turned down the wedding job I slept on it and without having any experience in shooting weddings and talking to my friend who does it for a living helped me decide and offered for me to help assist her sometime which I will totally take her up on. I just couldn't help but to think if I messed up the pictures of their big day and the only thing to help them remember that day. Id be crushed if that was me. Busy bee

I've been a little busy bee lately so thats why it's been a little quiet over here. Today I thought id share another home tour peak. Today's peak is my bedroom finally it feels like a bedroom. I would like maybe a picture or something for over my bed maybe a head board but who knows when I will find those since I have a specific look in my head. So without further ado here is my cosy place where I like to rest my head.



I am all about shabby chic bedding. I am always collecting anytime I see any.

I love the big molding through out the house, and the wall paper the reason I made this my bedroom and not my studio.


I love that every room in the house has glass door knobs.

I hope you enjoyed another little peak into my house. In other news today I was asked by my cousin that her co worker would like me to shoot her wedding this weekend?? ME little old me? Im still like really um ok? I have only ever shot family portraits or miss autumns and random things out and about. But the bride to be likes my stuff and asked. I haven't said yes or no because I am not entirely sure what to say I have never done such a thing and it sounds so daunting and intimidating to be in charge of someone's precious memories of their one and only big day. I think it would be amazing opportunity I think I need to sleep on it before deciding. And if I said yes I would need to rent a lens for the wedding. Have any of you done weddings or a big event maybe some advice. Any would be appreciated. Oh and I got some goodies while out thrifting today that I will be sharing in this weeks thirfting thursday so be sure to look for that this week. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I promise to not be so quiet around here.

This past weekend was a pretty busy weekend. My brother graduated from High school I am so proud of him at times I wasn't sure if he would. All those mornings of literally dragging his butt and driving him every morning finally paid off. I feel old now haha now he's moving in with friends in a an apartment while he goes to school. Its so weird it seems like yesterday his voice was really high and we would watch the oc together every wednesday cause he was bored and wanted to do something with me. Now he's tall with a deep voice and the smartest person I know he's just so disgustingly smart. I have some iphone photos from the weekend. until I upload my photos from my camera ( I have misplaced my camera cord...again)

After the graduation we headed out to lunch at little big burger SO good I can't believe I had never been there before they make these little burgers just a bit bigger then a slider so its the perfect amount and their own fry sauce it was so yummy.








Also this weekend we had a BBQ dinner for my step dad's birthday. It was my first time having my step dad's side of the family over to my house and for some reason they make me more anxious and stressed to come over. So that whole day I ran around like my head had been cut off running errands and cleaning every nook and cranny in my house. It all paid off though I got so many compliments on my house. My step dad's mom and I actually talked we sat and talked about audrey Hepburn. We bonded on her films and she told me of road trips her and her husband took. And that they would find abandoned buildings to take pictures I was saying to myself "who is this person?" I wish she would of talked to me of these adventures and such before. But she's a lot more relaxed and we get a long better now. She's even bringing me some old linens from back and the day and anything else she finds around her house :) So excited to see what she finds.










All in all it was a great weekend filled with sunshine,family and friends. Just perfect.

Oh happy sunshiny day.

Today's weather has just been beautiful. I spent my afternoon with my friend Roseann who is visiting from California for the day. So I took her to The waffle window she had never gone so I just had to take her there. They make the yummiest waffles so many choices to choose from. I had the fruit and granola waffle, trying to keep it healthy over here :) I normally get the blueberry cheesecake but I knew that would not be the smartest choice on the menu.




It was good to get to catch up I haven't seen her in a little over a year. After we enjoyed our yummy waffles we headed next door to red light in hopes to find some cute stuff. And boy did I, I scored some awesome vintage pieces. I snagged this one for myself.



Then these beauties will be in the shop tomorrow or monday. I am trying for tomorrow night, since I have miss autumn early monday morning. I also had my first two sales today :D totally made my day.


They are even prettier in person so just wait and see :) The rest of my day will be spent cleaning,running a few errands for a dinner party I am hosting at my house tomorrow. I always get so anxious before hosting one. I just want to clean every nook and cranny and everything has to be perfect (Thanks mom :) ) After all that is done I will be heading over to Tender loving empire's 4th birthday show to see jared mees and the grown children and Typhoon. Im liking today a lot. I hope everyone is having a fantastic Friday as well.
