It's monday already

I honestly don't know where the time goes. It's winding down here on this Monday night. Today was filled with little muchkins miss autumn and miss scarlet. Autumn is the cutest when it comes to babies she just loves to help she would get so upset if scarlet was upset and would get her bottle for her to feed her. Then when I would walk around with scarlet she would put a little burp cloth on her shoulder with her little baby doll. Its just the cutest thing I have ever seen. Between those two I am worn out I don't know how single momma's do that and work or do that and run their business, major props to you. I got through it though with the work of three cups of coffee and two red bulls. Sad thing is I am out of red bull for tomorrow I may just have to leave early to buy some before I start my day. And while going through my day this is what I wore.

I love love this dress so much Miss elsie seriously you have outdone yourself. I am just in love with the spring line. Eek look at the time It's time for me to get myself all ready for bed. I also let my deadline go of getting my etsy up this weekend. I am horrible with time management these days. New and final deadline is Wednesday because I have that day off and I know it will be easier to get done. I hope everyone had a good monday I know they can be tough especially with spring a head and losing a hour of sleep.

Spring fever

Hello lovelies, After being cooped up in bed for the past four days and sleeping a good 14 plus hours a day. It's made me even more anxious for spring. I just want to spring clean and organize. I do that after being sick I just want to clean and de germ every inch of my place. I've even felt the urge to paint. But being a renter I have to be very careful with colors and to get the ok for them before going forward with any choices. There are a few rooms I had in mind painting the entry way, right now its a very lime-ish green I don't hate the color I just think personally it doesn't flow into the rest of the house So Id like to keep it maybe the same color as the kitchen which I already have the color in my basement its a off white creamy color thats simple. Then there is the sun room right now its very orange I think the name actually is called carrot something or something carrot but it just doesn't fit I see what she was going with I think even toning it down to maybe a peachy color would be gorgeous. Then lastly there is the studio there are two red walls which its just not a great color for a studio space I want like a pretty pastel purple. The only downside of red is it's so dark so there would be primer involved. But I feel like it would be fun have a painting pizza party maybe some beer it would be fun. I always want to paint in the spring I don't know what it is about wanting to make everything seem so clean and fresh. I think a trip to the paint store is in order looking into colors and seeing if they would be ok. In other news yesterday I got a bunch of pretty packages in the mail which made me so so excited. I took some pretty pictures of them.

Even the packaging was cute and it came with some cute little gifts inside.





Also today I've made myself get organized with my etsy I had been putting it on the back burner and today I took some pictures and measured and got everything ready. I still have a few more items to take pictures of but I wanted to give you a sneak peak it should be up and running this weekend. The rest of my day is going to be spent cleaning up my mess of a house that it's become since being sick and de germ my place and go grocery shopping I have zero food, milk or eggs and Im starved I know they say that's the worse time to shop I say it's the perfect time because then I buy everything in site ( I try to stay away from the bad things in site..most of the time) Because if I shop when Im not hungry I end up buying enough for a meal maybe two then end up back at the grocery store two times a week so I have something to eat. Tomorrow I re enter the real world sort of speak going back to watching the little ones. I hope that everyone has enjoyed their week so far.

Under the weather

One thing I hate in life is getting sick, but everyone gets sick. Sunday night at a family birthday party, I could feel the sickness creeping in on me. So I went to bed early with some medicine in hopes the rest would be just what I needed. Nope in fact I was worse by morning, body aches,fever,sore throat and all. So i've been huddled with blankets upon blankets in bed watching mad men. Drinking tons of tea and water but what I'd really really love is a peanut butter parfait and a London fog. It would feel so good on the throat. Maybe I can talk someone into bringing me those the idea of even making tea sounds like a daunting task. So getting my car to drive is out of the question. I did do a adorable project restyle over the weekend but that will be late until this sickness fades some more.

How on earth did this week fly by so fast? I swear they keep going by faster and faster. Today I got to watch both little kiddos miss Scarlet and miss Autumn. Autumn is such a little helper she loves babies and taking care of them so she's a great little extra hand if she would get fussy she would put her little hand on her lean in and go "shh shh" the cutest thing you've ever seen. I snapped a few photos through out the day.





A little lamp that I've had for god knows how long that I had in storage forever I knew I needed a lamp for my nightstand. But didn't want to go out in buy one when I have one that's perfectly fine. But i've felt is far to girly/ kiddish with the whole bow on it. And after seeing katie from skunkboys lampshade diy I knew I had to give it a go.

I also want these shoes I absolutely adore them.


So excited for tomorrow. It will be filled with doing that lampshade project, some vintage shopping and breakfast with my momma. Then catching up with a friend who's expecting for dinner. It's going to be a fantastic day. I hope you all are enjoying your start to the weekend. I hope you have some fun plans.

March goal list

Eek I can't believe it's already a few days into march but I've made some goals for myself. Mainly to get into shape and be healthier, I was looking through old photos and was like eek what happened?? And I want to finally wear cute swim suits this summer on my many of trips I have planned. So its time to crack down and hope to accomplish them this month.

1.) I will kick butt 5 days a week to jillian micheals 30 day shred & yoga meltdown.


As well as incorporating the brazilian butt lift work out that I just purchased.

I mean if alessandra ambrosio swears by it, it must work right? My sister has used it and really liked it. So I figured id give it a try.

2.) I will drink more water and less pop. Lately I've had these cravings for diet coke I don't buy it because if it's in my house I will drink it. But my mom has some so occasionally I steal a can. But I need to kick the diet coke cravings.



3.) Eat healthier.





4.) plan out my meals when I grocery shop.
I have been so horrible at this lately I feel like I am in a food rut and eating the same things every week how boring, I need to spice it up and introduce new recipes into the mix.

5.) Get back into using my film camera's


6.) Really start my etsy. I have plans and ideas its finding the time to do them no more excuses.


I think that's a good goal list.

I need a vacation

I've been feeling the blues and in the need of a vacation to get refreshed. Not just time off at home to catch up but to get out of town leave and just relax and have fun. My dream is ultimately California but that isn't in the cards right now. Soon though soon because I don't know how much longer I can take it I miss the weather and just everything. But I've been missing the Oregon coast as well I have two trips there planned one this month for four days then one in April for three. I'm very excited though the Oregon coast is so gorgeous we have our beach house booked my favorite house wasn't available :( I think it got sold it was for sale when we went so Im guessing the new owners didn't want to keep it as a rental house.







I also miss my long hair *le sigh*









Ah I can't wait to get away hopefully some good weather will be awaiting at the beach. Enjoying my first mini road trip in my new car oh yes by the way I finally got my new car I kept it to myself because I have this theory if I talk about it at all I jinx myself into not getting whatever it is. I know silly but it proved right this time as well as my house so I am sticking to it. But she's gorgeous guys let me tell you I really got lucky on this one the owners took perfect care of her and she has wait for it a SUNROOF. Oh gosh I have been wanting a car with one since eesh forever and this one had one. I was jumping on the inside but wanted to get it checked out before buying it because of my previous car troubles. And she was great and ready to be mine.
