This past sunday me and my family spent the morning walking for
the race for the cure. It was all in celebration for my Grandma who has been cancer free for five years now. We got the whole clan together to walk even miss autumn came out, she was such a little trooper and so was my sister who carried her for the three miles we walked. Autumn did walk for a few blocks but other then that she got piggy back rides. I had never done one of these walks before and I don't know why we just started but we all decided this will be a annual event for our family. It was such an amazing site to see all the pink walking around supporting this. It was such a beautiful day for the walk luckily it was early enough that we got the cool weather before the heat hit. While we were on the walk we happened to walk past the real world portland house one of the cast members was standing on the roof top watching the walk, which my cousin was so excited about she had to stop to get a picture. After we walked we were all pretty hungry so we decided to head over to kells irish pub for some good food. I had the most delicious turkey wrap and sweet potato fries. But if you ever go you must MUST have their nacho's they are amazingly delicious. I took some little snippets of the day.
It was such a wonderful day spent with family and I am so glad we all got together to support all these woman who have survived this and celebrate the ones we have lost. I hope all you ladies regulary do self checks as well as mammograms. I am so proud of my Grandma and I am so grateful she has survived five years and many years to come. I love you Grandma Judy.

That time I drove to California.
So there was that one time I decided to drive to California by myself to attend my friend Sarah's baby shower. It was also the first time we were meeting, we met through instagram/twitter. I remember being so excited and nervous it was such a fun trip. Here are some little snippets from my trip.
The trip started out right with the biggest coffee for the 7 hour drive.
The drive actually went by pretty fast, I may have listened to milo green's album the whole way on repeat it's just THAT good. I got there around dinner time we had pizza and some yummy salad. After we ate we played phase ten and had bacon chocolate bars and hi chews. It was the perfect end to my first night in California.
The next day was the baby shower but before the party we grabbed some of the biggest iced coffee's i've seen in my life.
The shower was adorable we all got to make iron on onesies for little baby cohen. Sarah made the cutest cupcakes in a jar as favors they looked really yummy I think I forgot mine so I will imagine they were really scrumptious to.
After the shower we relaxed a bit with miss norah who is the cutest cat alive. She slept with me my second night there cuddling with kittens while they purr is so adorable.
And no California trip would be complete without in and out. I hadn't had it in about 10 years before this trip. Since the closest one is in redding and driving 7 hours for a burger seems quite ridiculous. Lazy sunday was in full effect with breakfast and season one of the oc. These were also the best herb bagels hands down, I could go for one right now actually. Sadly after some good times were had it was time to make the long drive home the weekend flew by as I knew it would.
It was such a fun little weekend trip. Oh how I wish Redding and Portland were just a little closer or her little family could just move to Oregon already that would be pretty great to :). I'm so excited for her as little baby cohen should be arriving anytime now. I know her and Thomas will be the best parents to that little boy he will be so loved. Thank you again Sarah and Thomas for letting me into your home and being the nicest host. I can't wait till we can all hang out again and next time with a wee little one.

Life lately.
Has been quite crazy that I haven't blogged and I must admit I missed posting here. I need to get back into the swing of things my time management is just awful. Life has been pretty great lately. I took some pictures of my best friend and her boyfriend last week. Then I shot a wedding this past weekend, yup I still can't believe I did that. I have never done anything on that measure before and was so excited but so nervous being in charge of someone's big day memories that they will look back on for the rest of their lives was only mildly terrifying.. ok a lot. But it went good luckily it was a child hood friend so I felt comfortable and I actually went to elementary school with her now husband so it was a great wedding the venue was so beautiful. I can't wait to share the photos from both events soon. I could most definitely see myself doing another wedding or two. I just love weddings in general and getting to be apart of someones special day is just magical. Well it's back to editing through the pictures and cant wait to share soon.
Here's a little sneak peak of the wedding venue, it was so gorgeous.
